Photo Gallery - TAIS 2013 November 9th Meeting
Our very special demonstration of Japanese Flower Arranging (Ikebana) with autumn and holiday themes. You will wonder why we saved this program for our last of the year, but Presenters Joann Hyde and Judy Hansen were in great demand. They brought an array of materials and containers. Members left knowledge of this ancient art and an appreciation of the beauty which results from its application. Teachers in the Ohara School of Ikebana, Joann and Judy hold extremely popular classes at Tucson Botanical Gardens. As members of the Ikebana Society, they have been involved in designing the Japanese Yumi Garden located just south of TBG.
